Ticket to Ride has worked hard to build good relationships with Costa Rican operators to ensure that the cost of the trip is as low as possible, but at the same time ensuring a high standard of service.

Payment Schedule

Place Confirmation - A £300 non-refundable deposit is to be sent in with the BOOKING FORM.

Once we receive a booking form and deposit, Riders will be sent a TTRide Welcome Pack which includes a deposit receipt and further payment plan broken down into 2-3 separate amounts. We feel that having 2-3 payment installments takes the pressure of our riders to fork out the whole sum in one go.

Accommodation

For the first 5 weeks of the trip our riders will be accommodated in Santa Teresa's Funky Monkey Lodge.

For the last week of the trip our riders will depart on a one week road trip to another part of Costa Rica in search of the best swell that the Pacific or Caribbean Coasts have to offer. Accommodation will be provided upon arrival for the week.

Not Included

Flights - Flight to San Jose (via America) - Flights can be bought for around £400-£600. Following your booking our STA Travel team will help organise your flight to San Jose, and where ever else you want to go.

Personal Travel Insurance - Around £110-£150.

Equipment - After 2 weeks, Riders will be required to buy their own surf board, you can expect to pay between £120-£250 depending on what board you go for.

Food & Drink - The Funky Monkey Lodge has cooking facilities, and may supply their own meals: A food and drink budget of £7-£10 per day should be adequate.
