I had an amazing trip with awesome people. I did things I would never have done if I hadn't come with Ticket to Ride like the 216m bungee jump. My favourite place has to be Jeffery’s bay, it had such a chilled vibe with the nearest surf break only 1 minute away, not only this the staff were such a good bunch of people. It's been an incredible experience from the surfing to the places we have seen. It's been insane, seriously epic.

An amazing trip that has opened my eyes to so many things in a truly amazing country. I have seen and experienced things in this trip that will stay with me for the rest of my life. One of my favourtie memories was painting a school near Jeffery’s Bay, the kids were so awesome and you could tell how much the school and parents appreciated our help, it was very satisfying. Mozambique is truly Africa, combine that with epic surf and sun and you've got a winning combination.

An amazing 10 weeks in South Africa, great waves, great people, great experience. It’s worth the hype and the build-up, you’ve got to go on this trip. I found the pre-trip support from TTRide really helpful and all my questions were answered. Mozambique was the perfect way to finish the trip. I will be going back as soon as possible. Swimming with a whale shark was a highlight for me.

The trip was brilliant because even though it was organised it never felt like you were told what to do. I am so happy with what I gained from it and it really helped my surfing and took it to the next level.

The trip in South Africa caters for everyone and has been the most amazing and beneficial time of my life.

Poppy Marshall - 19
The trip leaders have been incredible throughout the trip. The diversity of the surf coaches was really rewarding and beneficial for everyone’s surfing. The dynamics of the group were perfect, mostly because everybody is really individual and had something unique to bring to the group. Mozambique was completely different from South Africa, but was the best part of the entire trip.

Ticket to Ride South Africa gave me experiences that I’ll never forget, with a worldwide group of new friends who I’m definitely going to stay in contact with. It’s a great opportunity to drastically improve your surfing level in a short amount of time and if you’re anything like myself, you’ll be planning your next surfing adventure as soon as you get back! It will probably be the most exciting and memorable ten weeks of your life.

I had such an amazing time with some really cool people. I enjoyed Jeffery's Bay the most. The hostel was awesome and you are a 2 minute walk from the nearest wave, Kitchen Windows which was perfect for my surfing level and helped me improve. What an epic trip.

The trip provides a great opportunity to really travel for the first time and get the most out of the country both in terms of surfing and the culture. I now feel that I can surf anywhere in the world as a result of the past 10 weeks. Mozambique was epic, it was the cherry on the South Africa cake.

This trip has been amazing, an unforgettable experience. Between all the surfing and all the locations you get to see. You really feel like you experience South Africa from a local surfers point of view. An d the most amazing part is all the people you meet and the everlasting friendships you make. Mozambique was a beautiful place and definitely worth signing up for.

South Africa and Mozambique were both amazing. I had an awesome time with some great people and surfed some incredible waves. My favourite stops had to be Cinsta, near East London as we had such sick waves and Secret Spot as the food was amazing and the hostel was so cool.

Ticket to Ride has provided me with a way into the great sport of surfing whilst traveling a fantastic country with an awesome group of people, loved every day of it. All the instructors were really good. My favourite was Etienne, he was the most knowledgeable and helpful. Mozambique was different to South Africa but what an amazing place.

An amazing break from my everyday life. South Africa is a amazing country, nothing like I expected. The people were great and everything I hoped for. I really enjoyed surfing and was really pleased with my progress. Mozambique was the perfect end to an amazing trip and I’m definitely going back.

I feel that the trip has really improved my surfing. I think it would have taken me 5 years on my own to gain the same surfing knowledge that I have gained in 3 months. This is down to the instruction as well as surfing with a group of people. The time in Mozambique was so awesome. We had white sand, crystal clear water, amazing people and peeling waves… what more could you ask for?

Travelling round Mozambique was an amazing experience. I loved Ponto, it’s such a beautiful place but the accommodation in Tofu was really awesome. My favourite part of Mozam has to be the Ocean Safari and I felt that the trip leaders were really helpful. I had such an epic time and would love to go back.

Chris Peart - 26
Mozambique was really fun, easy going and really relaxed. Ponta is such a cool place, you’re right on the beach which made access to the waves really easy. The food at the hostel was great. It was a great end to an amazing 13 weeks.
