The combination of heavy snowfalls scheduled flights is never a good thing, and with our first South African trip of the year departing from various airports around the UK today we are hoping that the airports are dealing with the snow aswell as possible.

We have called around a few to get updates, but do urge people to make their own checks for their particular flights; and if it is going to be delayed, then please let us know. Likewise if due to the snow you will be unable to make it to the airport on time please keep us updated with your plans.

Information we have got so far is that:

Gatwick - is currently closed, and is expected to open at 16 00. There is currently no scheduled delays on Emirates 20 10 flight to Dubai, but we urge you to check with regularly.

Heathrow - is open, but there are a few delays with various flights, so be sure to check your flight.

Glasgow - is open, but experiencing delays on a handful of flights. Shouldn't be problems, but again make sure you check your flight.
